The Thunderbolt platform team performs design, development and Level A certification of the Boot, Platform Abstraction Layer (PAL), Device Drivers, Middleware IO and network/communciation stacks.The candidate needs to have strong embedded platform technical skills, be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal), and work as team member in a global team, responsible for Platform software requirements, architecture, design, coding, and integrations.The candidate must have demonstrated skills/abilities in the following: Software design, requirement and code (C, C++) development on an ROTS or a baremetal enveronment in compliance to various DO-178C levels capability to manage competing priorities; drives and meets stretch goals; develops and implements action plans to meet project objectivesKey Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Agile program execution.xc2xb7 Design and Develop the embedded Software.xc2xb7 Facilitate Certification activities.xc2xb7 Creating DO-178C life cycle artifactsxc2xb7 Part of analysis of complex technical problems and develop solutions.xc2xb7 Debugging and troubleshooting complex integration issuesxc2xb7 Able to perform the above responsibilities with minimal or no supervision. Generate new ideas and participate in initiatives around Avionics Platforms.Basic Qualifications:xc2xb7 BE/ME in Computer Science or Electronics.xc2xb7 Minimum of 8 years Real Time Embedded Software development experience.xc2xb7 Must have good understanding of the Thunderbolt architecture.Additional Qualifications:xc2xb7 Expert in C,C++, assembly software languagesxc2xb7 Embedded Systems Development Knowledgexc2xb7 Familiar with processor architectures (Xilinx, NXP, PPC, ARM etc.,).xc2xb7 Able to design and develop the Middleware software including network/communication stack.xc2xb7 Able to perform software desing/development, low level and high level requirements development, test, review and integrate on the target.xc2xb7 Good Knowledge of DO-178C.xc2xb7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsxc2xb7 Strong personal leadership abilities and ability to handle multiple activities/priorities effectively.xc2xb7 Action oriented, results driven, high energy, self starter/drive.xc2xb7 Innovative with new approaches to design work.xc2xb7 Influential with peers and customers and demonstrate critical thinkingxc2xb7 Owner of technical content and deliverables of the teamxc2xb7 Architect (a.k.a. design-authority) for the team.
