Sr Accountant-CA inter with 15 to 25 year of Experience ,preferably from ISC medium of Schooling.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Provide insights into the company's financial position, profitability, and cash flow to management and other stakeholders.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare balance sheet.
• GST filling ,TAX ,E filling
• Returns filling
• General Ledger Management:
• Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of accounts (e.g., bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable).
• Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
• Internal Controls and Compliance:
• Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the organization's financial integrity.
• Participate in audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing any issues raised by auditors.
• Ensure adherence to tax regulations and accounting standards, ensuring tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
• Supervisory and Mentoring:
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training to ensure best practices are followed.
• Manage the performance and development of the accounting team, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Lead or coordinate the activities of the accounting department to meet organizational goals.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting systems, controls, and reporting processes.
• Work on automation and streamlining of accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Recommend new systems or tools to enhance the financial reporting and operational processes.
• Taxation:
• Oversee tax-related matters, including the preparation of tax returns, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
• Work with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Advise on tax planning and strategy to minimize tax liabilities.
• Cost Management and Budgeting:
• Assist in cost management by analyzing expenses and variances from budgeted figures.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management regarding business strategies and capital expenditures.
• Ensure financial forecasts are aligned with business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is often preferred.
• Experience: Typically, 25+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 7 to 10 years in a senior accountant role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software .
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
