Key Responsibilities

Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance, making recommendations for and implementing improvements where necessary.

Security & Compliance: Implement database security and manage access permissions to meet compliance requirements.

Backup & Recovery: Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity and availability in the event of data loss or corruption.

Database Optimization: Perform indexing, query optimization, and troubleshooting to enhance database performance.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and IT support, to align database operations with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 7-9 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2016/2017/2019/2022) administration, T-SQL, and SQL Profiler.

Backup/Recovery: Expertise in backup and recovery methods, disaster recovery, and high-availability techniques.

Performance Tuning: Proficient in indexing, query tuning, and monitoring tools like SQL Server Profiler, DMVs, and Performance Monitor.

Security: Familiarity with database security standards, user access control, and encryption techniques.

Certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?1,100,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
