The Compliance Data Science team is looking for a bright, eager to learn, Junior SQL Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering database solutions to the Data Science team. The Data Science team creates data analysis and ML solutions to the compliance, AML, risk and dealing departments. With primary focus on transaction reporting, anti-money laundering monitoring algorithms and market risk dashboards. The successful candidate will also develop and implement database and data collection processes, design and deploy reports, dashboards and analytical systems. The work involves the development of data models, data visualization, algorithms and automation scripts. You would interact heavily with the marketing, sales and business intelligence teams.



Primary Responsibilities (not limited to):


• Work alongside experienced Data Scientists to create ETL/ELT jobs
• Developing performant SQL to address use cases
• Understanding business requirements and the underlying data
• Designing, building and debugging PostgreSQL relations
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation of jobs
• Adopt and develop standards for best practices for data integration
• Actively involved in automation of reports and analytical processes
• Extract data from multiple sources, maintain and build databases and processes that are utilized for data analysis and reporting
• Technically document existing and new ETL processes


Qualifications:


• English - High Working Level (written and verbal)
• 5+ years into SQL Development.
• Advanced SQL, able to write scripts and stored procedures
• Proficiency in ETL processes, tools and relational databases
• Have written complex SQL queries (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience with Oracle SQL, T-SQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience in designing and managing SQL databases
• University degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Engineering/Quantitative Finance
• Experience using Python
• Experience and/or interest in developing solutions in the financial regulatory area
• Experience setting ETL process and automations using Apache Airflow





Working days/hours: Monday to Friday (Fully Remote)
