Job Description
: 7 to 9 years of work experience as SQL Server DBA
Contractor position
1.Database Design & Development Support:
• Optimize database schema, queries, and indexing to enhance performance.
• Review and guide the development team on database coding standards and best practices.
2. Strong knowledge on SQL concepts like Join, triggers, function, Partitioning & writing store procs.
3.Automation and Scripting:
• Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts for routine database maintenance tasks, deployments, and backups.
• Use PowerShell, T-SQL, or other scripting languages to streamline database operations and reduce manual effort.
4.Capacity Planning and Monitoring:
• Monitor and analyze database storage usage, CPU, and memory utilization to plan for future growth.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track performance metrics, error logs, and alerts for proactive issue identification.
Working shift -> 2 PM to 10:30 PM IST
