Roles and Responsibility Job Title: SQL DBA L2 Experience: 3-5 Years Notice period: Immediate to 15 days Location: Gurgaon JD: Roles and Responsibility
  • Technical Support Engineer (L1) B.E. / B. Tech/BCA (On-Site), Relevant Certification (Preference). 2-3 Years relevant experience, ITIL Trained, OEM Certified on Minimum One Technology, Exposure to Server administration.
  • Perform 24 X 7 monitoring of all the servers in the Customer data center such as availability of the server hardware pre-failure and post-failures, Disk space utilization, Memory utilization, Processor utilization, Network utilization related to the server, Server Hardware Health Checks, Health check of Production Environment, monitor log files and critical services, Validate alerts for False-Positives, Log tickets in the service desk system for valid alerts.
  • Maintained everyday server checklist and all errors related to services to be checked & take appropriate actions.
  • Installation of new Windows Server.
  • Able to operate on Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory.
  • Able to operate on Windows DHCP Server.
  • Vendor Coordination services for Hardware break-fix for all servers as per the severity levels defined for equipment.
  • Practical Windows-based systems administration skills.
  • Manage system changes through the change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties. Provide supporting documentation, reports, and other information to management (e.g., system utilization reports).
  • Respond promptly to incidents, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
  • Monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
  • Expected to work during off-peak hours on system activities (e.g., patching, upgrade).
  • Perform activities such as adding, modifying, or deleting end users/groups, associating access, and capability characteristics of resources with defined groups, following agreed password standards and procedures, and verifying user performance issues reported by Customers or detected via the event monitoring process.
  • Follow established ITIL processes for managing incidents, tasks, service requests, and requests for changes.
