If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a SQL Database Admin Senior Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karn\xc4\x81taka (IN-KA), India (IN).Position overviewNTT is looking for a Sr SQLServer Administrator individual with strong database admin skills for our Engineering team. Candidate shall be able to manage multiple clients must possess good communication skills and shall be able to independently drive projects to completion.Position\'s General Duties and Tasks:

• Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Database performance tuning.
• Planning, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting of high-availability database environments (Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, etc.).
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes, for efficiency and cost optimization.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
• Work directly with end customer, business stakeholders as well as technical resources.
• Multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Replication

QualificationsMust have Skills:

• SQLServer Database management \xe2\x80\x93 8+ Years
• High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Replication - 5+ years
• Database Tuning, Migration, Upgrades, patching experience on On-Perm and Azure DBs \xe2\x80\x93 8 + years

Secondary Skills

• Strong english verbal and writing skills \xe2\x80\x93 8+ Years

Nice to have, but not required:

• Experience in SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL.
• Experience with scripting.
• Experience complex query tuning and schema refinement.
• MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus
• Experience supporting Logical DBA activities.

• Bachelor in Computer Applications
