Job Responsibilities :\xc2\xb7 Responsible for development of Filters, Strainers, Roto molding, Injection molding, Blow molding, FRP, rubber molding components and temperature & position sensors being used in Tractor, Construction equipment and other Agricultural equipment.\xc2\xb7 Alternate source development - To perform various activities of Design Reviews, Technical feasibility with suppliers, Quality Risk Assessment and Program reviews, Supplier Interactions, Development Plans, Technical support to meet project timelines.\xc2\xb7 Interaction with Global commodity buying and Engineering team on concluding Design reviews, technical feasibility, Development plan, Design Validation activities.\xc2\xb7 Conducting Potential Supplier assessment audit, Process audit, Special process audits (plating, painting, Heat treatment) at current and new suppliers.\xc2\xb7 Planning and undertaking Supplier Improvement plans through Reactive/ Preventive and Proactive approach.\xc2\xb7 To interact with peers of various functions like Global and local Purchasing, PD, Plant Quality, PDP, product quality.\xc2\xb7 Has to interact on activities like NPD bottlenecks, technical evaluation of suppliers, PIR resolution, support to supply chain bottlenecks etc.Key Performance Indicators :

• Achieving Key project milestones maintaining all the deliverables of DR/TR conclusion, QRAs, Program Reviews, PPAP approvals & PIR resolution.
• First time right products during initial sample development for testing and validation as well as during PPAP and serial production.
• Conducting regular Process audits at suppliers to ensure the Quality of products.

Major Challenges :

• Parts under this SSP category are both functionals parts (like Filters and sensors) and appearance related A class parts which poses special challenge for precise development and consistent quality and reliability.

• Thus, this needs to have a highly competitive Supplier Quality person with high level of expertise in this commodity. This position requires having a high level of internal networking and having a good relationship with suppliers for managing and streamlining the activities in this area.

Work Relationship :InternalInteractions with Peers of Purchasing commodity, Product Development, Testing & Validation, Manufacturing & Quality & Product Behavior.ExternalSuppliers managementQualifications/Skills :\xc2\xb7 B.Tech / Diploma in Plastics processing technologies or CIPET.\xc2\xb7 10-15 years of work experience in OEM or auto ancillary in Supplier Quality Function.\xc2\xb7 Skill sets, both in terms of leadership and functional competencies supported by varied experience.\xc2\xb7 Should be well versed with Chemical processes like Injection molding, Roto molding, Blow molding, Filters knowhow, Tooling / Fixtures Concept & review.\xc2\xb7 Hands on experience on measuring devices & Plastics testing.

• New Part development process / APQP exposure for Plastics processing technologies.
• Should have added experience in painting processes.
