Role
As the SQA Supplier Management & Capability Development Lead you will be part of the Quality and will report to the Head CRVT, Multi Sourcing Development, Supplier Management & Capability Development.
The purpose of your role will be to Ensure development and implementation of Policy & Business plan for Supplier quality departments/sections in line with company objectives and lead special projects for upgradation of suppliers to meet the futuristic requirements of customer.
A purpose driven role for you
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Drive focus on special projects to ensure that the existing status of quality is continually upgraded
a. Study of environment & forthcoming challenges and expectations from Quality
b. Identification & Conceptualization of projects
c. Design the process for implementation
d. Control the implementation process of the projects
2. Ensure formulation of CQA policies in line with business requirement and control of the deployment process
a. Situational Analysis of Quality performance
b. Development of A3 policy and identification of themes, freezing of objectives
c. Alignment across all verticals
d. Ensure the review process to ensure deployment of same
3. Development and strengthening of CQA Processes
a. Development of new processes
b. Alignment of processes across verticals
c. Gap Analysis & strengthening
d. Standardization through IMS
4. Control Supplier & CQA data management process to ensure timely gap analysis while maintaining the integrity of data
a. Supplier Quality data management
b. Periodic evaluation of Quality performance of suppliers
c. Analysis of supplier performance and recommend actions for POOR performers
d. Risk mitigation in Leap / Sourcing board ideas
A Day in the life
1. Aligning the objectives of multiple departments/functions to ensure project/initiative success
2. Staying updated of the new developments in the industry and challenges for Quality
3. Co-ordination with internal stakeholders & CFT for Special projects & IMS implementation, Leadership Reviews, Policy Deployment, Best Practices Deployment
4. Co-ordination with suppliers for Process/system improvements, parts quality
5. Co-ordination with Audit Agencies for IMS & NABL audit
Academic Qualification & Experience
B.tech with 6 yrs of experience
