Position Summary: The QA Engineer will work with senior product team members to ensure that the team consistently produces high-quality deliverables to support data governance, stewardship, and automation of the leveraged loan processes. This includes working with senior technical and business resources to define and validate functional and non-functional business requirements using automated testing techniques. This position is a hands-on test build /execution role. It is a highly technical position and will require a strong knowledge of automation and more specific testing of serverless architectures in the context of continuous deployment. We are looking for individuals who can work agilely and are passionate about technology. Should understand the different levels and types of test automation, and be able to work with the rest of the team to agree on the most appropriate level for each case. Proven experience in designing and implementing automation test frameworks, especially for serverless architectures. Experience of testing in the context of continuous deployment to a production environment Practical experience with Service Layer Testing including Rest APIs Excellent programming skills. Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective strategies and test plans Participate collaboratively with Dev and product teams to define clear requirements and strong acceptance criteria Design and implement low maintenance, robust, and highly scalable test automation Implement testing frameworks for CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps Debug and define corrective actions Work with both development and product team members to ensure a quality deliverable Desired skills Technical Strong Knowledge of one or more automation tools and frameworks Experience in design and creation of automation for CI/CD pipelines Proven ability to design and implement state-of-the-art Automation Tests Understand the constraints and responsibilities placed on QA by CI/CD and be able to take appropriate decisions as a result Working knowledge of SQL Experience working in Agile Methodologies knowledge of ReadyAPI is a plus Soft: Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude Strong organizational skills Knowledge and experience of financial markets Demonstrated ability to work in a globally distributed software development team.
