Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sports Head to lead our sports department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, with a proven track record in managing and enhancing sports programs in an educational or institutional setting. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership skills, and the ability to inspire both students and staff towards sporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sports strategy aligned with the educational goals and values of YS Group.
• Oversee all aspects of sports operations, including scheduling, coaching, facilities management, and equipment procurement.
• Lead and mentor a team of coaches and support staff to ensure effective delivery of sports programs.
• Identify and nurture talented athletes, providing them with opportunities for development and participation in competitive events.
• Collaborate with academic departments to integrate sports into the overall curriculum and student development initiatives.
• Promote a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among students and staff.
• Coordinate with external organizations, sponsors, and community stakeholders to enhance sports partnerships and opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate sports programs, assessing their impact on student engagement, performance, and overall well-being.
• Ensure compliance with relevant sports regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (X years) in a leadership role within a sports department, ideally within an educational institution or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of sports development, coaching methodologies, and sports administration.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students and staff towards achieving sporting goals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and operational logistics effectively.
• Knowledge of sports governance, rules, and regulations.
• Commitment to promoting sports as an integral part of holistic education.
