A sponsorship and program executive will be responsible for securing sponsorship deals and partnerships for a company or organization. Their main duties include identifying potential sponsors, pitching sponsorship opportunities, negotiating sponsorship agreements, and managing relationships with sponsors. They work closely with marketing and sales teams to create sponsorship packages that align with the company\'s goals and objectives. Additionally, sponsorship executives are responsible for tracking and reporting on the performance of sponsorship deals, ensuring that sponsors receive the agreed-upon benefits and deliverables. They may also be involved in creating marketing materials and promotional campaigns to promote sponsorships and enhance brand visibility. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role. As a Sponsorship and Program Associate, the candidate will play a pivotal role in driving collaborations for Codeavour competition through strategic efforts.
Drive corporate governance measures.
Lead development of sponsorship strategies and key performance metrics.
Lead market research efforts to identify industry and market trends for sponsorship strategies.
Manage negotiation and execution of sponsorship agreements.
Lead resolution of unfulfilled deliverables in sponsorship agreements.
Review current sponsors to strengthen the sponsorship portfolio.
Manage onboarding of sponsors\' key executives.
Obtain approval of sponsorship strategies and key performance metrics.
Review sponsorship performance metrics and key indicators.
Maintain a database of sponsorship activity and progress.
Identify the potential collaborators and devise strategies to effectively reach and engage them.
Create compelling and informative content to showcase the benefits of participating in the Codeavour competition. This includes blog posts, social media updates, videos, and more.
Craft persuasive pitches to attract individuals, schools, and coding communities to join the competition.
Collaborate with educational institutions to encourage their students\' involvement and participation.
Reach out to relevant online platforms, forums, and communities to spread the word about the competition.
Reach out to relevant CSR companies for sponsorships.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts using relevant analytics tools.
Provide regular reports on key metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, and conversion rates.
Attend relevant industry events, coding meetups, and educational fairs to represent the Codeavour competition and attract potential partners.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and product development, to align marketing efforts with overall objectives.
Qualification
Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in nonprofit management, fundraising, business administration, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
Experience working in a fundraising capacity and/or managing or administrating sponsorship programs will be an advantage.
Proven experience (1-2 years) in marketing, preferably in a similar role or internship.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with coding, programming languages, and technology trends.
Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and email marketing tools.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency.
