Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing automation solutions, special-purpose machines, material handling systems, and control panels. The role involves concept development, detailed design, and ensuring the integration and functionality of the systems. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Concept Development:

o Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.

o Develop innovative concepts for automation solutions, special-purpose machines, material handling systems, and control panels.

2. Detailed Design:

o Create detailed 2D and 3D design drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

o Design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

o Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.

3. Project Management:

o Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

o Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs.

4. Prototyping and Testing:

o Collaborate with the prototyping team to build and test prototypes.

o Conduct testing and validation of designs, including performance, reliability, and safety assessments.

o Implement design improvements based on test results and feedback.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

o Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and user manuals.

o Present design concepts and project progress to stakeholders.

6. Continuous Improvement:

o Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

o Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost reductions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• years of experience in designing automation solutions, special-purpose machines, material handling systems, and control panels.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in industrial automation.
• Project management experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?22,000.00 - ?28,000.00 per month
