Spark/Scala Senior Developer will work as part of a team responsible for designing and implementing the new, strategic Prime Services platform based on the Hadoop/Spark technology stack for batch and real-time data processing.
Work closely with the Prime Services Architect, Bangalore Dev Lead and the global development team to design and implement the next-gen Prime Services platform. Act as a Spark and Scala development expert and guide the local team on the best practices and solution design. Take responsibility for the delivery of critical services and components.
Our Ideal Candidate
10+ years of professional, business application development experience in Java and/or Scala (general IT, support, analytics don\xe2\x80\x99t count)
Very good English, interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrable software development experience including solution design, design patterns, best practices and code quality, software testing tools and techniques
Demonstrable Scala development experience
Demonstrable Hadoop development experience
Demonstrable Spark development experience including Spark Batch Processing, Spark Streaming and Spark SQL
Demonstrable Git and branching strategy experience
Familiar with DevOps (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiar with Agile
