Role Summary: Specialty care advisor (SCA) will be responsible to achieve sales objectives agreed upon in respective defined territory in HQ for Hematology products through scientific interaction with treating doctors and establish the brands in Beta Thalassemia and Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) in right patients. Key responsibilities:
Promote BMS Hematology Brands in B Thalassemia and MDS indication through appropriate delivery of scientific message to the Health Care Professionals in AP & Telangana states.
Demonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
Segmentation and profiling of potential customers in the assigned territory and execute plans tailored to the different customer segments.
Management of multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously sales calls, integration of customer marketing activities, alignment with the other functions such as medical, KA, marketing etc.
Demonstrates strong capability in customer interaction based on patient centric approach.
Accountable for the achievement of the agreed Business Objectives.
Achieve Sales Force metrics such as Days in Field, calls / Day, Reach, CME activities etc. are being met to drive business objectives as per the organization requirement.
Close collaboration with Key account team and help build B Thalassemia and MDS concept to public market stakeholders to enable penetration of hematology product in public market (state and central govt accounts)
Collaborate with Medical team to establish B Thalassemia and MDS concept and awareness of BMS products.
Gain a broad perspective of what is required to develop the territory and improve access. Demonstrate business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers, and develop, execute tactics.
Demonstrates capacity to understand and learn scientific information quickly and continuously through self-learning of published data in scientific literature.
Identify the account that needs CME events, coordinate with KOLs and ensure conduct CMEs as per territory needs. Assist in / organize meetings and activities to promote company image and/or product awareness.
Ensure effective management of territory by efficient time management, record keeping, resource utilization that meet organization objectives.
Managing the process of hospital formulary inclusion to allow usage of product within that hospital.
Maintain product, competitor, and health care environment knowledge.
Report safety information, including adverse events, in accordance with BMS Standard Operating Procedures
Demonstrate BMS core values while performing assigned responsibilities.
Works to the highest levels of integrity and compliance, always adhering to BMS Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics and ensure full compliance with laws and regulations.
Understands and acts in accordance with all applicable laws, local compliance rules and BMS policy when promoting BMS products.
Experience and Knowledge
Candidates dealing in Hemoglobinopathies, Hematology and/or Oncology.
Experience in public market business (e.g., State, Central or RACE)
Candidates should have experience of launching and handling innovative molecules.
Demonstrates capacity to acquire scientific information.
Demonstrated track records of meeting assigned objectives and demonstrating the BioPharma Behaviors.
Incredibly good knowledge of customer segmentation and targeting process.
Resources allocation expertise working with multiple customer segments.
Proven experience of working with Thought Leaders and experts in their field.
Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills & presentation skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with internet and e-mail
Should have consistent and excellent sales track record.
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
Pharmacy/ Science Graduate with 5-8 years of experience, MBA preferred.
Relevant experience of 2 to 3yrs in Haemoglobinopathies, Hematology and/or oncology space.
Languages
Command on English, Hindi, and local language.
