- Ensure complete and accurate preparation and posting of monthly expense, premium and claims journals and ad hoc management adjustments.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly management reporting, review and analysis of financial results with commentary.
- Ensure issues identified through month/quarter end reconciliations are resolved and corrective action(s) taken.
- Assist the business with preparation and submission of annual Plans and Forecasts.
- Reflect changes in chart of accounts or department structure changes to existing reports and dashboards.
- Work within an Agile Finance Function, participating in squad standups and providing updates as needed.
- Fully or partly qualified in relation to Accounting Accreditation, for example Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), preferred
- Demonstrated track record of adding value to a Finance function.
- Experience working in an accounting or reporting function withinin banking, insurance or similar industry.
