Control Hardware
SCADA HardwareVestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new products are developed, matured, improved, and tested. To put it short, Vestas Power Solutions is the cornerstone of Vestas, shaping the future of modern energy. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you\'ll find our department, Control Hardware, which is a part of the larger R&D organization, Applications, Controls & Electrical.In the Control Hardware department we develop next generation control hardware solutions, by utilizing the techniques of system engineering, modularization, and simulation, to make the new wind turbines and SCADA systems even smarter. You\'ll be a part of the SCADA Hardware Sub Module within Control Hardware, where we focus not only on product development, but also on maintaining and improving our existing SCADA Hardware product range. We work in an area where Hardware and Software goes hand in hand, and therefore close collaboration with other departments is the key to our growth.Responsibilities

• Establishing best design practices and setting quality standards for the team to follow
• Supporting plant architectural decisions, requirements, and interfaces, ensuring alignment with interfacing design modules, customers, and the value chain
• Supporting the Senior Functional Lead in defining the technology roadmap
• Guiding and coaching team members in development and technology projects
• Taking the lead on implementing IEC 62443 guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s / Master\'s degree in Electrical / Power System / Similar Specialization
• +10 years of experience with electrical LV design
• Experience in Wind turbine design
• Experienced on International standards such as IEC, UL, etc., e.g. IEC 60204-1 Machine directive and IEC 62443
• Experience about SCADA system design is good to have
• Experienced with DFMEA and System Engineering
• Skilled communication skills in English (oral and written)
• Coaching and mentor skills
• Work experience from a global company
