NICE is seeking a Technical Education Specialist to join our Public Safety and Justice portfolio family. Our solutions include on-premise and cloud platforms that enable NICE to be the default global provider of evidence capture and management from initial incident through to the justice system. Our market is currently transitioning from on-premise technologies to Cloud, and NICE is leading the way in providing clear solutions, technologies and thought leadership. The responsibility is to ensure our internal teams and external stakeholders are fully conversant with our products through creation and delivery of innovative Education and Training. The main function of the Technical Education Specialist is to design and develop and deliver technical and application training on NICE Public Safety products in a variety of formats.

As part of the Training and Documentation team, you will work closely with other major functions within the company, such as R&D engineers, Support and Installation engineers, New Product Introduction teams and Product Managers. Your ability to work independently to deliver to an agreed plan is essential.

Your priority will be to ensure accurate and on-time training materials development to support delivery of technical training and end user training course materials to both customers and employees in a Global environment.

Responsibilities:

• The development of learning solutions through the training life cycle including requirements analysis, mapping, design, development and delivery
• Develop technical training solutions and end-user customer training collateral for NICE customers, partners and employees delivering training materials and associated documentation for instructor-led training courses and eLearning offerings
• Deliver courses for use in both classroom and online (virtual) environments
• Work closely with R&D to understand new product features and functionality
• Work closely with the Product team to understand our market needs and ensure the collateral meets that need
• Evaluate training effectiveness to ensure continual improvements to content and delivery
• Install, upgrade and maintain training systems
• Successful completion of training development projects to defined project timelines
• Work as part of a team, within a global group, to achieve project and group goals
• Constitute a point-of-contact for Public Safety product knowledge in our Pune development centre

• 4+ years of experience in technical training and end-user training development
• Self-motivated and independent
• Very high level of verbal and written English - native speakers preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering virtual technical training.
• Ability to adapt working schedule to occasionally deliver training in other time-zones.
• Good technical skills. A development background is an advantage.
• Proactive in solving issues and ability to connect to and work with multiple teams.
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in at least one of the following fields: Technical Author, Trainer, Product Support, Software or Field Engineer OR Experience in technical training and end-user training development or delivery.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with a \xe2\x80\x9cCan-Do\xe2\x80\x9d approach and a passion for training and learning.
• Very good level of presentation skills.
• Learn quickly with a \xe2\x80\x9cCan-Do\xe2\x80\x9d approach and attitude.

• Technical knowledge of NICE Public Safety solutions.
• Experience using Camtasia Video Recording software.
• Experience of using Articulate Storyline 360 e-learning suite.
• Real life experience in one or more of the following technologies:
• Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• Microsoft (SQL), Oracle (MySQL) and other database technologies
• Networking: protocols, switches, firewall, VLAN
• Virtualization: VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience in the Public Safety ecosystem is an advantage.
• Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) e.g., Cornerstone

• Degree or high-level technical qualification in electronics, engineering or computer science or related technical subject preferred
• Certified Microsoft/Cisco/VMware desirable
