Structure department in NNE works on the building structure, both steel and concrete for our Denmark projects. We also support with secondary steel structures required for various purposes like pipe rack, platforms etc. Structure team in India focuses on leading the steel structure packages and in supporting our DK team with concrete structures. As a Specialist, you\'ll become part of our Structure team, where you\'ll:
  • 85% lead discipline in all project sizes and phases
  • Plan and take technical and financial responsibility for own discipline
  • Ensure interfaces to and coordination with other disciplines
  • Ensure changes to scope of work are brought to the attention of project management
  • Ensure disciplinary consistency, quality, and compliance
  • Coordinate and support Engineers in own discipline
  • 5-10% development of competence and employees
  • Provide on-the-job education of Engineers to advance their career
  • Follow technology trends within technical discipline
  • Review work of Engineers in own discipline
  • Share knowledge across projects for technical and project execution alignment within own discipline
  • Cost calculations, input for proposals and review of costs for proposals
  • Support the development of standards and guidelines

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:Education
  • MTech in Structural engineering
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
Professional experience
  • Extensive steel structures design experience in pharma engineering or similar.
  • 12+ years of experience as a structural engineer on major projects.
  • Broad design knowledge, from working on a wide range of projects and using British, US and European codes of practice.
  • Experience using common analysis software (including or similar to ROBOT, STAAD and ETABS) and willing to quickly learn to use new analysis packages as required.
  • Be a Chartered Member of the ICE or IStructE with the Engineering Council UK or equivalent body or working towards it.

  • Diligence to solve problems and finish work in a structured manner. Provide advice to customers proactively
  • Detailed oriented.
Technical skills
  • Design and analysis of different types of buildings and industrial structures like Concrete (In-situ and Precast) and Steel structure.
  • Analysis and design of Modular pipe racks and process structures including transportation and lifting analysis. Work experience in Large or very large modules will be an added advantage.
  • Select appropriate structural material according to applicable standards, with technical calculation as required
  • Get Structural construction drawings prepared for a Project according to Technical Specifications mentioned in the Project
  • Experience in Design and analysis of different Industry civil structures as per Eurocodes.
  • Conceptualization, Design and documentation of engineering design, Solve problems of medium complexity.
  • Review Structural fabrication drawings for a Project.
  • Interdisciplinary knowledge and Interface management with other engineering disciplines
  • Sound technical knowledge, thorough knowledge of all related codes and section details, In-depth and detailed checking of jobs before delivering.
