Job Title Specialist, Software Development Engineering What does a successful Full Stack Developer, Java do at Fiserv We are looking for motivated engineers to join our team on a multi-year journey in building the best-in-class experience for commercial card and expense management.. This is a full time UI development position reporting to a hands-on technical lead on a high demand growing Global Business Solution applications. Developers work in small, focused agile teams with a high degree of autonomy and constant opportunities to participate in product, user experience, technical and architectural design. Developers are involved for the full software lifecycle from design, development and testing all the way through demonstration, training and production go-live. What you will do: Develop external and internal APIs that provide data to our clients and applications using a variety of Java and Spring technologies. Develop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest Front-End Technologies and support existing application. Develop backend services and processes that communicate with other services and databases. Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis. Work on technical designs and technical decisions Develop application code and unit test in the Rest Web Services( JAVA, J2EE, SPRING BOOT), ReactJs and Java technologies for the Application Development Center Work on performance for both client side and server-side components You\'ll support our products and their deployments for use by internal and external customers You should have a passion for development and possess deep server-side development skills Utilize your hands-on experience to develop and support applications at all stages of the SDLC Collaborate with internal teams and product partners to build and deliver world-class software Ensure code is well structured, maintainable, in compliance with specifications, and testable while producing quality documentation for the support teams Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and identify appropriate solutions Support continuous improvement and innovation What you will need to have: Develop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest Front-End Technologies and support existing application. Develop external and internal APIs that provide data to our clients and applications using a variety of Java and Spring technologies. 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including assigning and executing tasks throughout the entire SDLC 5 + Experience with back end server-side development with API design 3+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs 3+ years of experience developing solutions for distributed systems architecture including microservices with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Core. 3+ years of experience with one or more SQL/RDBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) 3+ years of experience integrating with 3rd party APIs and tools Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, or a related technical field, or combined equivalent experience Must have full life-cycle development experience. What would be nice/great to have: Experience in web development using Javascript based development (React/Typescript) Preferred domain experience in Cards, banking and financial services industry Agile development environment Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery - GITLAB/HARNESS deployments and pipelines Collaboration platforms such as JIRA Experience with AWS cloud platform will be great add on.
