As an SME for SAP APO Module , you should have a deep understanding of SAP APO module configuration, implementation, and maintenance, as well as experience managing a team of consultants. You should also have excellent communication, collaboration, project management, team mentoring skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Key responsibilities as follows. Lead and guide the APO implementation projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and oversee successful delivery. Develop and maintain technical expertise in APO modules, including Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling, and Global Available-to-Promise (gATP). Customize and configure APO components to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing SAP systems and external data sources. Provide hands-on support for APO configuration, testing, and documentation, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the implementation lifecycle. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to APO functionality, interfaces, and data integration, working closely with functional consultants and developers. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their supply chain planning needs and translate them into technical solutions within the APO landscape. Lead and mentor a team of APO developers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team performance. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in APO technology, proactively recommending enhancements and improvements to optimize planning processes. Support APO system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, working closely with SAP Basis and other technical teams. Ensure adherence to established development standards, security guidelines, and change management processes in all APO-related activities. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field required. Extensive experience as a technical lead or senior APO consultant, with a solid understanding of SAP APO modules and integration with other SAP components. Strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes, best practices, and industry standards. Proficiency in ABAP programming, SAP configuration, and integration techniques. Strong native HANA modeling skills with proven experience with complex modeling using scripts. Demonstrated experience upgrading large enterprise applications with multiple integrations and dependencies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues, proposing effective and efficient solutions. Proven project management experience, including successful APO implementation projects. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. SAP certification in APO or related areas is a plus. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and prioritize tasks effectively. We are one team, for maximum impact.
