Job Title Specialist, Quality Assurance Engineering Payments Tech is looking for talented Functional Test Analyst to join our Acquiring Backend team. The ability to think tactically as well as strategically and to articulate your expectations to a mixed team of engineers, senior level developers is critical to the success in this role. In addition to these important skills, it is imperative that you can summarize functional issues relating to software implementation, function, and upgrades and to prepare written and verbal updates to senior level management. Additionally, you will focus using analytical and troubleshooting skills to provide project participation, support continuity. Teamwork and creativity are essential to this role. As a go-to point of questions, you will be challenged with resolving client impacting issues in a fast-paced environment. What You will do: Work with multiple programs/applications on projects of moderate complexity and work with project team member. Develop and execute formal Test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Define Test objectives, design, execute test cases and test scenarios to ensure that Software products meet design specifications. Lead and participate in Test planning and quality review sessions. Testing may include Application, System, Regression, User Acceptance testing. Participate in Daily calls as needed for appropriate hand on testing. What you will need to have: Bachelor\'s degree required relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement. 7-10 years of functional testing and Quality assurance experience in Banking, Cards & Payments Domain. Extensive experience in phases of Testing: Test Planning, Test Preparation, Test execution and Reporting. Reporting and tracking of defects through to resolution using Defect management tools: JIRA, Confluence . What would be nice/great to have: Preferred domain experience in Cards, Banking and financial services industry is a plus. Co-ordination with relevant stake holders for implementing QA best practices, processes, and strategic plans. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
