Title: Specialist, IT \xe2\x80\x93 Forensics and Investigations Location: Bangalore Your role I n this role you will be responsible for the preservation, collection, and analysis of electronically stored information and supporting legal requests for support to closure, focusing on projects from a global program perspective. As needed, support the design and implementation of data protection controls including data loss prevention and threat detection. Contribute to detection engineering efforts by reviewing past cases and recommending improvements. Contribute to E-Discovery collection and support requirements as needed by management. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

  • Assist eDiscovery collections, in partnership with global IT and Legal departments
  • Support assigned digital forensic efforts for investigations, and IT security incident response, including but not limited, to internal and external intellectual property (IP) theft, attacks/intrusions, computer abuse, and insider threat investigations
  • Collect, process, preserve and analyze data from electronic data sources, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, virtual machines and mobile devices, per company policies and practices
  • Maintain full chain of custody and evidence tracking
  • Perform log, memory, and raw analysis
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and solutions in the context of eDiscovery and Legal hold
  • Support Legal requests with timely, high-quality work product, presenting complex technical matters clearly and concisely. Organize all relevant case information in an easy-to-understand format
  • Support the continuous improvement of investigation processes across all phases of the collection, analysis and reporting lifecycle
  • Other responsibilities as requested by management
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring
  • 5+ years in IT Security, with at least 3 years in a forensic investigator or incident response role
  • Ability to follow through on leads until all possible avenues in investigating a case have been exhausted
  • Familiar with enterprise IT processes for asset, configuration, change, incident, and problem management
  • Experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, iOS and Android operating systems
  • Experience with EnCase, FTK or other computer forensic tools
  • Experience with different imaging types and methods
  • Experience in forensic analysis of compromised systems
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures regarding chain of custody practice
  • Technical Report Writing Experience
  • Demonstrated skill working as part of a team, collaborating, and supporting peers in a fast-paced environment
  • Industry certifications nice to have: GCFE, GCFA, CHFI, CCE, CFC, EnCE, CFCE, CEH, CISSP, CND, eDiscovery certificate a plus
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree, military service, or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge
  • A minimum five years technical experience working with IT the majority of it ideal in cyber security
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated skill working as part of a team, collaborating, and supporting peers in a fast-paced environment
  • Project management experience for full systems lifecycle and tool upgrades, including business case development
  • Self-motivated to own and solve difficult challenges and ability to motivate others to higher levels of performance and engagement
  • Strong desire and aptitude for continuous learning and keeping abreast of new and emerging technology
