This important science, technology, and innovation centre will support a range of technology and drug development activities that will help us usher in the next wave of innovation.Job Profile:BMS is seeking an experienced Java Developer who is responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of software that solves complex business problems, and is scalable, secure, and easy to maintain across the entire company. This is a technical role in a team with equally dedicated and passionate Engineers supporting our Cyber Identity and Encryption/PKI services. & Responsibilities:

• Architect the planning, design and development of new solutions.
• Working closely with the Team and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and design software solutions to meet the product requirements.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8, Spring framework, Spring Boot and backend technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Services is a must.
• Experience working with cloud native CI/CD tools and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Micro service architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and knowledge of API protocols like REST.
• Contribute to technical innovations along with defining coding standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and solutioning complex problems.
• Support and maintain in-house developed web applications and databases.
• Take part in an after-hours on-call support rotation and implement solutions, patching and deployment activities after hours as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with Internal Infrastructure, Application and Business partners to understand needs, use, and systems to facilitate effective IAM solutions.

Qualification:

• 2+ years of experience in Java and Backend Technologies along with relevant experience of API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON etc.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, especially EC2, S3, VPC, Elasticsearch, and Kinesis or equivalent Azure Services.
• Public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, Google
• Servers such as Apache, Tomcat.
• Willing to learn new Cryptography concepts.
• Self-directed with excellent communication and documentation skills
• BS or equivalent in information technology, computer engineering, computer science, or related field
