About this opportunity

The Manager is responsible for Managed Services and Customer Support Services delivery in the area of assignment. The main job responsibility is specified as follows -

What you will do
  • To run technical support staff handling Managed Services & Customer Support activities of respective team.
  • To maintain SLA/WLA as per agreement with customer.
  • TT/ CSR / CR Performance Management & Reporting
  • To give in the creation and improvements to procedures and routines within the department / group.
  • To ensure correct working methodology & knowledge sharing.
  • To conduct Interviews & IPM discussions.
  • To predict People requirements and ensure team is adequately staffed all the time.
  • To ensure that Information security guidelines are implemented as per requirements
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Adapt to new technologies, build competence in new technologies in advance & Service deliveries in time.
  • To ensure right competence is available in team at all times.
  • To ensure time reporting is done by all the team members.
  • Support GNOC Operational plans and activities
  • Review the team performance as per Governance.
You will bring
  • Qualifications: Degree within Electrical Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science with 10-12 yrs of experience.
  • Industry experience: Telecom/IP
  • Technical Competence : Voice Call & Signaling Routing, Network Architecture, Signaling Protocols, Traffic Dimensioning, Performance & Characteristics of Network Nodes, End-to-End Performance Audit & Optimization, Planning/ Design of Networks, Competence on Core/Ran/ TX domain, Network Security, IP Networking
  • Certifications: Certification related to Telecom/IP shall be an added advantage
  • Technical and/or functional skills: Good knowledge of service networks / GSM Network / WCDMA network / LTE service applications characteristics and capabilities; Service Performance indicators and their interpretation. Basic Knowledge of services and service applications implementation / integration processes along with Access, Core, Transport & Service Networks. General understanding call flows, channel concepts, site related issues
  • Language skills: Proficiency in written / Spoken English
  • Values and behaviors: Ericsson Core Values / Honesty / Integrity / shall be exhibited
  • Human Competence: Stakeholder management skills, Leadership skills, Diversity awareness, Drive change, Interpersonal communication skills, Presentation skills (oral and written), Problem solving approach
  • Business Competence : Business understanding, English, Ericsson knowledge, Financial understanding, Use of IS/IT
