Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Specialist Distribution and Connectivity EMEA to join our team at WHG India in Eurasia.
Job Summary
The Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Distribution & Connectivity is responsible for implementing, monitoring and supporting commercial and connectivity strategies to maximise connectivity and parity performance of Wholesale, Online Travel Agency (OTA) and metasearch accounts in EMEA. Working with the wider commercial teams, the Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Distribution & Connectivity will drive rate integrity and connectivity initiatives to help drive revenue into Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR) franchised and managed hotels across all brands, around the globe. This position requires an excellent understanding of the hotel and travel industry online distribution space. An energetic, inquisitive and efficient approach, acting in partnership with distribution partners and WHR internal stakeholders is critical to the success of this role. Close collaboration with EMEA commercial teams, WHR global distribution and connectivity teams is critical. Measurement of success will be based on booked revenues and EMEA rate parity scores; however connectivity timelines and connectivity optimisation, will also be key factors in evaluation and performance.
Complexity
The Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 Distribution & Connectivity will drive significant revenue opportunities into the WHR portfolio of brands and hotels through dedicated rate integrity initiatives and optimising connectivity opportunities. They will work directly with secondary and tertiary partners to improve their potential, connectivity options and promotional opportunities. They will manage secondary and tertiary EMEA based partners that have the ability to generate revenue for some of our key markets in EMEA. They will take responsibility for
Support for existing accounts to improve their performance
Connection strategies in close communication with the distribution team for designated key Wholesale, OTA and Metasearch partners throughout EMEA.
Implementing rate integrity and parity initiatives and communication plans in conjunction with the Wholesale, OTA and Metasearch account holders globally.
Managing and supporting implementation and execution of new partner connectivity including pilots in collaboration with the global connectivity team
Ensuring key distribution initiatives, and escalation/resolution processes to ensure business objectives and operational service levels are met
Serving as Rate Integrity Champion and Connectivity Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all distribution channels to support strategic distribution initiatives
Managing project plans to audit connectivity to existing partner interfaces and drive new opportunities to improve performance
Submit bi-weekly reports on key activities and wins to senior management
Resolve partner connectivity issues
Scope/Financial Responsibility
Although this position does not manage a cost center, it is the responsibility of the Specialist, Distribution & Connectivity to manage their expenses accordingly. All employees must review costs of sale and ROI for all business trips; marketing opportunities and overall spend in their region. The Employee is responsible for submitting a Travel and Entertainment Expense Report monthly.

Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality and travel sector online distribution market place
Excellent understanding of distribution partner behavior and hotel challenges in protecting rates and rate integrity
Good understanding of hotel technology, distribution and connectivity frameworks
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets
Flexibility to adjust to the changing needs of the business, taking on new ideas, initiatives, brands and responsibilities as they present themselves
Ability to work simultaneously on a number of initiatives and priorities often under pressure

Experience/Certificates/Education
Previous experience in hotel or OTA distribution in a pan regional role is essential
College/University Degree in hospitality or business related discipline or experience equivalent
Verbal and written fluency in English is essential
Exposure to metasearch and wholesale companies is an advantage
The ability to work fluently in another European language is an advantage
Must be a fully competent user of all Microsoft Office packages and have worked with Sales and CRM databases
The role requires international travel approximately 10% of the time
