Role Responsibilities This role who will report directly to Executive Director, Head, Information Protection & Head, Data Security. The role will be accountable for formulation, operational planning and reporting of teams\' strategies, validation against constraints, identification of opportunities for collaboration and leveraging existing initiatives. This is a Strategy & Planning lead role with the accountability to uplift the maturity of governance over teams\' book of work within the function with unified goal setting, data driven decisions, reporting and resource planning and working with the leads to build the strategy for the domains. Strategy & Operational Activities Provides oversight over initiatives prioritisation, risk buydown estimation and alignment to strategic goals and stakeholders\' expectations Assists leaders in creating narratives for bottom-up initiatives to ensure benefits are communicated and considered in prioritisation with clear supporting message Develops capability and technology roadmaps, aligned across Information Protection & Data Security function and to the overarching Cyber Security strategy Serves as centralised information collection point about existing initiatives to leverage efforts and allow flexible adaptation to everchanging business and regulatory requirements Continuously identifies opportunities for delivery enhancement, inter- and intra- teams\' collaboration, resource allocation optimisation Interprets complex information & generate recommendations to support strategic & corporate goals Creates platform for unified goal setting and reporting Ensure teams\' internal and external communication is consistent, understandable to wider internal forum Builds team&rsquos brand within and outside Cyber Security. Process Periodical reports that need to be published Interna & external. Contributes to management action plan definitions and collation where required. Gathers and analyses information for taking meaningful decisions. People and Talent Facilitates collaboration between the teams within IP & DS. Continuously builds relationships with different stakeholders within and outside of IP &DS to strengthen the team&rsquos brand and eminence Monitor teams\' structure and capacity plans and its alignment to strategic goals Individual contributor and team player Highly entrepreneurial with high level of energy, dedication and an unrelenting drive to deliver value with the focus on value form collaboration and learning loop. Risk Management Help team leads communicate identified risks and issues. Identify operational risks Lead through example and promote the appropriate conduct, culture and values. Financial Management Plans, monitors, reports, and forecasts the finances of the Information Protection & Data Security service domain (run, change and continuous improvement). Governance Jointly ensure that book of work progress continuously meets business needs, changing requirements and leads to defined goal achievement while following Bank&rsquos established processes as well as technical standards. Provide reporting to Heads on the achievement of committed benefits and strategic goals. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Key Stakeholders Head, Information Protection Head, Data Security Cyber Security - Service Heads, Service Managers Programme Directors, Project Managers - Information Protection & Data Security. Our Ideal Candidate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent. Additional formal education in Business Administration or Management welcome. Experience in Cyber & Information Security in Banking and Financial services preferably combined with experience in top tier consulting firm. Strong knowledge of business management, resource planning, process management and optimisation and performance measurement. Strong communication skills - oral, written and presentation. Sound knowledge of MS-Excel, PPT, and Word. Proven track record of working as a facilitator between Technology and Business Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, across various levels in the organization including senior leadership teams, in influencing key decisions taken in the business and in support teams. Customer focus Strong analytical skills and ability to gather competitive intel, prioritise, summarise, make decisions, and work to tight timeframes and changing environment. Ability to solve complex problems with high number of stakeholders and conflicting interests. Strong business acumen and deep knowledge and experience in the handling businesses. Ability to both assess strategic priorities and to focus on detailed aspects of a function in order to drive effective delivery. Strong integrity, independence and resilience.
