Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Special Educators to join our team of educators.

In this role, you will be responsible for instructing students with mild to moderate disabilities.

Your primary tasks will involve adapting the existing Therapy and education plan and writing to accommodate the individual learning needs of each student.

You will create personalized lesson plans tailored to their specific requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with parents and support staff (Therapist) to address any significant factors that may hinder students' progress.

Your ultimate goal will be to provide guidance and inspiration to help children achieve important learning milestones.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

2. Keep track of and reflect on students' progress

3. Monitor children's behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed

4. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.

5. Collaborate with the support staff (e.g. speech therapists) to create holistic intervention plans

Requirements and skills

-> Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role

-> Good knowledge of current special education methodologies

-> Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities

-> Ability to create IEPs

-> A patient, resourceful, and resilient personality

-> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

-> Valid state special education certificate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?7,000.00 - ?11,000.00 per month
