LIFE CENTRE FOR AUTISM AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT KOTTAYAM is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Educator (Autism Spectrum Disorder) to join our Autism Centre in Kottayam, Kerala. If you are passionate about working with children on the autism spectrum and have a strong background in special education, we invite you to apply for this fulfilling position.

Position: Special Educator (ASD)

Location: Kottayam, Kerala.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with autism, focusing on their specific strengths, needs, and learning styles.
• Provide direct instruction and support in various areas, including academics, communication, social skills, behavior management, and daily living skills.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to promote the overall development and independence of children with autism.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, parents, and caregivers, to ensure a holistic approach to each child's education and well-being.
• Assess and monitor the progress of students, adjusting teaching strategies and interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of student progress, interventions, and achievements.

Requirements:

• Diploma , Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (ASD) .
• Experience in working with children on the autism spectrum.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for autism education.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the unique needs of children with autism.
• Fluency in Malayalam and English
