Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Persons with disabilities with diverse learning needs, collaborating with parents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure that each child receives the individualized support they need to thrive.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement appropriate and innovative teaching-learning materials (TLM) tailored to students' needs.
• Conduct routine follow-ups with parents/guardians to update them on their child's progress and address any concerns. Collaborate with parents to set and track short-term and long-term goals for each student.
• Monitor and assess student performance on a monthly basis to track goal achievement.
• Ensure the dignity and respect of all students in classroom and extracurricular settings.
• Comply with organizational policies regarding punctuality, leave, and workplace conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Diploma in Special Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Proven experience working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with parents and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in maintaining student records and preparing reports.
