Title: Spec, IT \xe2\x80\x93 QSR/Validation Lead

Location: Bangalore

Your Role

Plan and set direction for a team, group or service delivery area within a given IT function (such as technology, operations, applications development). Provide direct supervision of individuals including mentoring, performance management, and staffing decisions. Manage all activities of internal/external resources within the group or service delivery area. Responsible for budget commitments and forecasting for the group or service delivery area. Accountable for one or more business systems or technologies.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

• Manage medium size teams, demonstrate solid technical knowledge, demonstrate solid business knowledge, require limited direction, give significant direction, handle complex problems, possess strong knowledge of the policies, standards and procedures, have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Provide direct supervision of individuals including mentoring, performance management, and staffing decisions.
• Set team, group or service objectives and ensure they align with the IT vision and the teams\' day-to-day activities.
• Determine and manage priorities, timelines and schedules.
• Interact regularly with customers to understand their business and to anticipate needed IT solutions.
• Review team, group and/or service deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence to the processes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the budget process and monitor the budget as appropriate. Assist the business with IT capital and operating expense investment requirements.
• Participate in the research, analysis, selection, and implementation of new tools, technologies and/or services.
• Develop, gather and measure relevant productivity metrics.
• Manage or participate on projects as required.
• Ability to review and approve change control pertaining to infrastructure and IT applications
• Should be well versed in regulatory disciplines by direct experience and practical knowledge of implementation of FDA and Annex 11 regulations, data integrity and GAMP 5 standards
• Responsible for the performance of reviews regarding quality documentation applicable for compliance measures related to key IT applications and infrastructure
• Responsible for the ongoing improvement and compliance with computer system validation and IT Quality compliance procedures that meet the Baxter Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
• Should have a strong working experience with platforms such as MicroFocus ALM, ServiceNow, and TeamCenter Unified platform.
• Ability to manage stakeholder engagement and user management as it relates to risk-based application and infrastructure changes
• Has a clear understanding of SDLC validation deliverables with clear understanding of risk assessment practices
