Hiring for Spare Parts & Warehouse from Transport Industry & Warehouse Management
Minimum 2-4 Years Experience
The Warehouse Stores Officer at Blue Verse will be responsible for managing the warehouse operations and inventory related to the Automated Bike Washing Machines and spare parts. They will ensure proper storage, loading/unloading, and dispatch of machines and spare parts to state warehouse.
Inventory management : Responsible for managing the inventory of Finished goods, Spare parts, and other related items. This involves receiving, storing, and organizing the stock in a systematic manner.
Loading and unloading: Overseeing the loading and unloading of Finished goods, Spare parts, and other related items, ensuring safe handling and proper documentation of incoming and outgoing items. Safe & Effective utilization of equipment such as forklifts or cranes for efficient movement of heavy or bulky products.
Stock maintenance : To ensure that the stock is kept in a healthy condition. This includes implementing appropriate storage methods, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any issues such as damage or deterioration.
Dispatch and delivery: Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of products to various locations, such as Central Warehouse, state warehouses or Dealers service centers. To ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, liaising with logistics teams and transporters to arrange for efficient transportation.
Documentation and record-keeping: Accurate documentation for inventory management by maintaining proper records of stock receipts, issues, and transfers. To update inventory systems or databases, track stock levels, and generate reports as needed.
Collaboration with accounts and finance: To collaborates with the accounts and finance team to ensure proper coordination of financial matters related to inventory. This includes reconciling stock records, verifying invoices, and providing necessary information for budgeting and financial reporting.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree with experience in logistics management, supply chain management, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics and warehouse management, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive or Logistics industry.
Fair knowledge of transportation logistics and warehouse operations.
Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems.
Prior usage of inventory management software and tools would be an added advantage.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
