The primary function of this role is to create and maintain planograms across multiple lines of business to ensure that new items are added, discontinued items are removed, and the planograms are merchandised in a manner that meetscustomers needs and strategic objectives. Merch Ops Analysts are expected to incorporate various reports and feedback from multiple parties into their decision-making process. Characteristics of strong Merch Ops Analysts include- eagerness to seek out information, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, possess a willingness to learn, and have a great attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain planograms to support business initiatives and meet deadlines
  • Analyze retail and market level data to develop planogram schematics utilizing Spaceman software platform
  • Own the project with planograms execution as key activityandconsistently monitoring and working towards the deadline
  • Utilize multiple reports in decision-making process and maintain routine project specific reports
  • Assist U.S.-based and India-based team members if necessary
  • Build a deep understanding of Space Planning processes and look for opportunities to enhance them
  • Run SQL queries as needed
  • Attend regular meetings with team and additional meetings as required with cross functional teams
  • Learn and utilize different systems, primarily Spaceman (space planning software)
  • Answer questions pertaining to planograms from the reset teams in the field
  • Ability to adapt in fast paced and rapidlychanging environment
Merchandising Functions
  • Space planning-Work on Cut in &Reset project, Planogram related reporting, publish planograms, Work on process improvements, alsoarea to be explored for GEB GCC
Desired qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree/ Masters Degree- Business fields of study
  • 1+ years of experience in aMicro space planning role
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong SkillsMicrosoft Office, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good to have SQL Developer knowledge
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently in afast-paced environment and manage multiple compelling priorities and projects
