Spa Therapist
Job Description
• Providing treatments : Administering a variety of spa services, such as massages, facials, body treatments, waxing, manicures, and pedicures
• Client care : Asking clients about their preferences, medical concerns, and allergies, and answering their questions before, during, and after treatments
• Record keeping : Maintaining accurate records of services performed and any important reminders for future services
• Equipment maintenance : Cleaning and sanitizing equipment between uses, and updating inventory when removing supplies
• Client complaints : Handling client complaints and reporting injuries or illnesses to management
• Upselling : Recommending additional products and services that may benefit the client
• Hygiene : Upholding hygiene standards and following health and safety regulations
• Communication : Cooperating with fellow staff and reporting administration about any arising issues
• Trend awareness : Applying best practices and being up to date with market trends
• Room maintenance : Keeping a clean and stocked room
