Job Description

As a Spa Therapist at Rawls Salon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa services to our clients, including various types of massage therapy, body treatments, and skincare services. You will ensure that clients receive a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs and preferences.
• Spa Services: Perform a variety of spa services, including but not limited to:
• Swedish massage
• Deep tissue massage
• Hot stone massage
• Aromatherapy
• Body scrubs and wraps
• Facials and skincare treatments
• Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for clients.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all spa services and products, and recommend appropriate treatments and home care products to clients.
• Sanitation and Hygiene: Adhere to all sanitation and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain treatment equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes and product recommendations.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other spa staff to ensure smooth operation of the spa and to provide the best possible experience for clients.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Valid certification in massage therapy and/or esthetics.
• Experience: Minimum [1-2] years of experience as a spa therapist or similar role.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and body treatments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to customize treatments based on client needs
• Proficient in using spa equipment and products
