Job Title: Spa Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various types of massages (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, etc.).
• Conduct body wraps, scrubs, and other body treatments.
• Provide professional advice on treatments suited to clients' needs.
• Perform facials, including cleansing, exfoliating, toning, and moisturizing.
• Apply skin treatments and masks, offering personalized skincare advice.
• Stay updated on the latest spa treatments, techniques, and products.
• Suggest retail products to clients, based on their individual skincare and wellness needs.
• Ensure that the treatment rooms, equipment, and spa areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including sanitization procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education & Certification:
• Certification in Massage Therapy, Esthetics, or a related field (varies by location).
• Continuing education in spa treatments and techniques is preferred.
• Experience:
• Previous experience as a Spa Therapist (at least 1 year)
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of various massage and body treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide customized treatments based on individual client needs.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand or be on your feet for extended periods.
• Other Requirements:
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• A professional demeanor, maintaining a calm and serene attitude even in busy situations.
• Knowledge of Ayurvedic massages (e.g., Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pinda Sweda, and Marma therapy) using herbal oils, powders, and other traditional substances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
