Atkins Global Technology Centre (GTC) is looking to appoint a SP3D Admin - Associate Technical Manager to support the delivery of complex Mining & Metallurgy, Chemical and multidisciplinary designs across a range of major projects. As the SP3D Admin - Associate Technical Manager, you will lead a large team of designers with the responsibility for guiding this team on all technical matters and perform multi discipline design management and coordination. You will be an experienced practitioner of BIM / Digital technologies, with proven track record of applying these technologies to develop engineering solutions. This key post will be based out of Mumbai / Bangalore / Gurgaon where we have thriving Atkins offices, which serve all Atkins/SNC-Lavalin regions across the world. Responsibilities: Setup/Support/Manage/Configuration of SP3D as per Project specification & Client requirements. Familiarity with Setting up project in Work share and Standalone environment. Adaptability towards different SEED files and managing the project setup / configuration as per desired PBS and Naming rules and other project requirements. Manage Users Access Rights & Manage project administration task for all disciplines. Creation and Maintenance Pipe specs and Catalogues Reference Data activities - Bulk load, Synchronize Model with Catalog etc. Creation of Custom Catalog and specification from the Bulk Load sheets. Setup and Customization of Various reports required as per the project requirements. Creation of View Styles, Graphic Rules, Label Rules, COM as well as SQL labels and basic SQL queries. Customization Drawing Template and Reports Setup Isometric Environment as per job requirement and relevant Troubleshooting. Create project backups and restore the model, catalog and drawing data. Setup Fabrication Isometric, Stress Isometric, Tracing Isometric. Handle Clash Management and Review Customization of Piping Support as per project requirement. Conduct User Level Training SP3D Job Instruction / Guidelines. Support Model Review activity and creation Navisworks session. Able to handle various CAD format (SAT, DGN, DWG, etc.) in SP3D. Setting of IFC and Rule checker services. Support activities concerned with design reviews, technical developments and engineering resolution related to design. Knowledge of CAD application such as Micro station & AutoCAD. Proficient in setup and integration of 3D Design Review Tools of such as Smart Plant Review, Navisworks etc. Good team leader and proactive approach towards problem solving. Required skills and experience: Good communication skills in English. Engineering Graduate or Engineering Diploma with experience between 5 to 10 Years mainly for Mining & Metallurgy, Mining & Metallurgy, Chemical and multidisciplinary of medium and large size. Preparation of reports such as feasibility studies, method statements, specifications, approval documents, design reports, schedules, construction drawings and bills of quantities Experience in planning, costing and monitoring delivery of work packages within budget and program and a working knowledge of the management of project finances by use of the change control process. Highly IT literate, excellent command of standard Microsoft office software, knowledge of IT infrastructure and hardware. Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Desirable skills and experience: Must be an advanced user of SP3D & Its equivalent tools for Plant Design with capabilities to federate individual discipline BIM Models. Setup, maintain and run clash rules and clash tests across federated BIM Models. Must know how to create search sets, query, find and navigate through BIM Models. Must be able to use Navisworks to generate clash results, manage clash resolution, redline BIM Models, capture viewpoints and cascade reports to discipline teams. Must be able to perform Navisworks model management. Hands-on experience of industry standard M&M BIM Platforms Computational / Generative design tool experience such as Autodesk Dynamo or Bentley Generative Components. Technical proficiency in the use of the latest common CDE systems: Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk BIM360. Required attributes: High performing ability to work and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams and work independently. Ensuring your work is to the highest appropriate standards and in compliance with Atkins quality systems and standards. Energetic and enthusiastic, with the desire to take on extra responsibilities and constantly upskilling team and oneself. Excellent written and spoken English communication within a business environment. Ability to exercise initiative, take ownership of project issues and work independently with excellent time management skills. You will demonstrate a high level of commitment, flexibility and be eager to accept responsibility and learn new skills, whilst always exercising an active interest in helping to solve technical problems faced by any member of the team.
