: JOB DESCRIPTION for SP NMS/Automation/Crosswork What Youll Do The CX Centers team delivers Support Services, Professional Services and Optimization Services at scale in all stages of the Customer Lifecycle, while seeking anticipated outcomes proactively and pre-emptively. Cisco\'s Technical Assistance Center (TAC) is aligned to the Global TAC geographic regions together, we form one Global TAC. The CX Center SP Networking team in Bangalore is seeking a leader, who have experience in service provider IP Technology and network Architecture. He/she will lead a team 10-15 technical consulting engineers to effectively resolve issues by customer remotely and help prevent further occurrences. Who You Are Essential Skills BE or BS in Computer Science or related technical fields or equivalent experience Minimum 6+ years of experience, working with NMS/EMS ,Network Management Software (EPNM, NSO & Crosswork) product on NOC operations, performance management, fault management and NMS product configuration / customization (FCAPS). Excellent software debugging skills, with good aptitude for troubleshooting Ability to analyze, configure and troubleshoot NMS products Experience in JAVA and/or Python, REST APIs, etc. Experience on Unix/Linux Skills (Administration, Scripting, Server tuning & Maintenance skills) Exposure or working knowledge on any monitoring application like EMS, NMS, OSS, NSO, Crosswork Good understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, OSI Reference Model) Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing Extended Skills CCNA / CCNP / VCP / RHCSA / RHCSE certification Knowledge of Server Hardware/OS experience on administration, sizing, tuning and maintenance of Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems Experience in NetConf, Yang Modelling, SNMP, SYSLOG, IP SLA, etc. Experience or working knowledge of Database like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. Emerging Skills Public / Private Cloud experience and knowledge (VMWare, KVM, Dockers, Kubernetes etc.) Solution, Support, SaaS, PaaS Solution Trends in the Industry Why Cisco We connect everything: people, processes, data, and things.
