The South Indian Cook will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and contributing to menu development.
Requirements * Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide range of South Indian dishes, including but not limited to idli, dosa, sambar, rasam, biryani, curries, chutneys, and snacks.
Recipe Adherence: Follow established recipes and techniques to ensure consistency and quality of dishes.
Ingredient Management: Source, select, and manage ingredients to maintain freshness and authenticity of the cuisine.
Menu Development: Assist in developing and refining the South Indian menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new culinary trends.
Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, including other cooks, chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure timely and efficient service.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure dishes are prepared to meet customer expectations and accommodate special dietary requirements when needed.
Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, minimizing waste and ensuring cost efficiency.
