Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced South Indian Chef to join our culinary team. As a South Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring high-quality taste, presentation, and hygiene standards. You should have a passion for South Indian cuisine and be able to innovate while staying true to traditional flavors and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes such as dosas, idlis, sambar, rasam, vadas, and various types of rice dishes (biryani, pongal, etc.).
• Develop and execute new recipes and dishes while maintaining authenticity.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized cooking environment.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff members.
• Adhere to health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a South Indian Chef or relevant position in a restaurant or hotel.
• In-depth knowledge of South Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Creativity and ability to innovate while respecting traditional methods.
• Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
