•A South Indian cook prepares authentic South Indian dishes, such as idlis, dosas, vadas, sambar, rasam, and chutneys. They also ensure food safety standards and maintain a clean kitchen. Here are some responsibilities of a South Indian cook:•
• Prepare food : Prepare a variety of authentic South Indian dishes
• Maintain cleanliness : Keep the kitchen and utensils clean
• Ensure food safety : Ensure food safety standards are met
• Maintain quality : Ensure the quality of food and that it is cooked correctly and on time
• Prepare for events : Help the chef cook and serve for events
• Plan menus : Plan menus, make curries, samosas, snacks, and appetizers for buffets, take-out, and catering
• Follow recipes : Be able to follow recipes
• Keep track of inventory : Keep track of inventory
• Prepare dishes for customers with allergies : Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
