Job Description


As a Veronica\'s Sous Chef at Hunger Inc Hospitality, you will have exposure to all our brands and will allow you to grow your learning and professional landscape.This role will report to the Executive Chef - Hunger Inc and will take care of our restaurant Veronica\'s.Our flagship restaurant, The Bombay Canteen showcases the wealth of India\xe2\x80\x99s cuisine by recreating local, seasonal dishes and reinterpreting age old Indian culinary traditions in a frequently changing menu. Our next venture, O Pedro, pays homage to the energy of Goa in a menu that brings back the fun of tropical living with simple, sophisticated food and drink, with influences from the state\xe2\x80\x99s Portuguese history. Our latest venture, Bombay Sweet Shop is a modern day mithai shop which brings back the magic of mithai in a never seen before avatar, in a fun and contemporary way, while staying deeply rooted in traditions and techniques. Our latest concept, an all day cafe opening in Bandra reimagines how we interact in this neighbourhood. Our food and hospitality will excite and delight our guests just like our restaurants do, but in a casual, cafe setting.The Bombay Canteen and O Pedro are currently ranked among India\'s top 10 restaurants by Cond\xc3\xa9 Nast Traveler India.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure finished products are accurately packaged, labeled and are accurately recorded in the inventory management system.
  • Maintain the production schedule to ensure stock levels are optimum and staff have access to accurate information.
  • Transport of finished goods inventory.
  • Drives continuous improvement of SOPs to maximise efficiency, keeping quality top of mind.
  • Ensure maintenance of all equipment is maintained daily, monthly and yearly.
  • Create and manage team schedules, aligning production to support cafe hours to ensure freshest products and a well managed inventory
  • Ensure FSSAI adherence to all safety requirements and protocols including food safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely.
RequirementsQualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in Culinary or Hotel Management
  • Minimum 2-3 years of running a cafe/restaurant
  • Ability to operate in Microsoft Office Suite efficiently and Email
  • Ability to interpret and analyse reports on food cost and labour
