Job Title: Sous Chef

Location: Beach Street Eco resort and spa, Mandrem Goa

Job Summary: As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a positive working environment. You will oversee kitchen staff, handle inventory, and contribute to menu development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and staff management.

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards.

Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed.

Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and support as needed.

Assist in menu planning and development, focusing on local ingredients and heritage cuisine.

Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications:

Culinary diploma or equivalent experience.

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines, especially heritage and traditional dishes.

Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
