This role will be based out of Dow's corporate office at Navi Mumbai.The Sourcing Manager will oversee strategic sourcing activities for the External Manufacturing Category across all India and Middle East market Dow Businesses.Additionally, the role includes responsibility for the Raw Materials Category within the India and Middle East markets for Performance Materials and Coatings businesses.Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of contracts with a primary focus on executing strategic sourcing strategies for the External Manufacturing Category across all India and Middle East market Dow Businesses, as well as Raw Materials Category within the India and Middle East markets for Performance Materials and Coatings businesses.
• Develop knowledge of the supply market and suppliers. Conduct Strategic Sourcing activities including market analysis and the development of short and long-term strategies.
• Work with functional and business partners to understand business requirements, align sourcing strategy, and execute implementation plans and be a key player for new project implementations.
• Act as the India and Middle East markets focal point for the business stakeholders.
• Negotiate pricing, payment, and delivery terms on spot orders as well as period contracts and execute the agreements.
• Manage Supplier Relationships including the commercial relationship. Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators.
• Understand and practice appropriate work process governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement or a related role.

• Strong written and oral communications skills Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to work with large amounts of data.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation or influencing the decision-making process.
• Demonstrated skills in project management.
• Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities Proficiency in professional English communication.
