• Understand product requirements: Collaborate closely with the production, CRM & research teams
to comprehensively understand the specific chemical requirements for our products.
• Sound knowledge of chemicals: Possess an extensive understanding of various chemicals, including
their properties, applications, and market availability.
• Floating enquiries to various suppliers: Identify potential suppliers and initiate requests for
quotations (RFQs) to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Maintain supplier database: Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers,
including contact information, pricing, delivery terms, and quality standards.
• Appoint new vendors: Evaluate potential vendors based on capabilities, reliability, and pricing.
Forge partnerships with new vendors to ensure a diverse and dependable supply chain.
• Optimize raw material prices: Utilize negotiation skills to obtain the best possible raw material
prices without compromising quality.
• Develop international vendors: Identify and cultivate relationships with international vendors to
diversify the supply chain and explore cost-effective sourcing options.
• Coordinate with vendors: Maintain regular communication with suppliers to address issues, track
order status, and resolve any supply chain disruptions or quality concerns.
• Ensure raw material availability: Proactively monitor inventory levels and collaborate with
suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of raw materials, preventing any production delays.
• Make error-free purchase entries in the system: Accurately enter all purchase-related information,
including supplier details, quantities, prices, and delivery dates, into the purchasing system or ERP
software.
• Track stock in the system: Monitor and update the inventory records in the system to reflect the
current stock levels accurately. Regularly reconcile physical stock with system records to identify and
resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry (BSc/MSc Chemistry) or related field.
• 1 - 4 years of experience in sourcing or procurement of chemicals (expients, solvents, impurities)
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, both written and verbal.
• Strong negotiation skills to obtain favorable pricing and terms from suppliers.
• Proficient knowledge of various chemicals, including their properties and applications.
• Familiarity with market trends, pricing structures, and supplier dynamics in the chemical industry.
• Organizational skills to maintain accurate and well-organized supplier databases and records.
• Proficiency in computer applications and software for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with purchasing systems or ERP software for error-free purchase entries and inventory
tracking.
