About Role: As a Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of bioinformatics scientists and data analysts to effectively deliver exceptional solutions to our customers. Collaborating closely with the sales and presales team, you will actively engage in gathering customer requirements, formulating comprehensive solution proposals, and liaising with both domain and technical experts to ensure successful solution delivery. These solutions are focused on data curation of public and in-house generated omics data and insight generation. Your role will involve providing technical leadership and coaching to your team, fostering their professional growth. You will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement and retention, ensuring their continued satisfaction and loyalty.. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of bioinformatics scientists and data analysts to effectively deliver bioinformatics solutions to our customers Use your understanding of biological problem statements and experience with multi-omics data to present compelling solutions to customers. Translate customer requirements into scientific and technical plans that effectively support their business objectives. Collaborate closely with the commercial team to nurture and grow customer accounts, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the scientific and business context. Requirements: PhD or Masters (with 3 years of relevant experience) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology or related technical discipline. Experience with NGS-omics, single-cell omics, mass-spec omics data for curation and analysis Experience with public omics repositories (eg. TCGA, GEO, CCLE, DepMap etc) Proficient in a programming language used for data analysis such as Python or R. Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple projects and teams Team and project management experience is a must Strong customer obsession Solid communication skills and presentation skills Startup experience is a big plus Benefits We Offer: Competitive compensation, including ESOPs.
