Solution ArchitectAs a Solution Architect you will be the technical lead for our digitalization projects. You will need to:Have growth mindset, learning and evolving through technological challenges.Be the technical architect and design the implementation solution in line with customer needs, derives specification, scope of work and technical deliverables.Knows (gets to know) whole Siemens Automation and Digitalization portfolio, portfolios interoperability, and can create solutions out of the existing portfolio to fulfill customers needs.Identifies portfolio gaps (not covering customers needs) and able to define requirements and solution architecture/design for portfolio amendment to fill the gaps.Support project management activities, resource monitoring, technical risk identification & mitigations, participate in project reviews with management.Work closely with internal and external development partners to drive them for a high-quality output.Qualifications and Required Competencies:Consultative skills to understand customer needs, business processes, customers current architecture landscape.
Should be able to translate requirements into specifications (functional / nonfunctional) and develop scalable architecture, select appropriate technology stack, enable developers to build the solution on time and within budget.
Monitors the development, integration & review the deliverables, ensuring the deliverables are meeting the customer and contractual requirements.
Should have good understanding of integration of various data sources, methods, approaches. Experience of Big Data / Cloud based architectures.
Hands on experience in implementation of IT-OT integration projects, first of its kind AI projects, Logistics/SCM Digitalization projects etc. will be a plus.Experience:
10+ years of experience for Electrical and Automation in manufacturing industry of which at least 2-4 years of experience working as Solution Architect.
Experience of technical project management of software projects will be a plus.Good to Have:
Experience on IoT, Industry 4.0 Solutions of data/industrial system integration (PLC/HMI/SCADA/Scanners) for manufacturing industry.Experience in architecting the solution based on PHP, Java, .Net, NodeJS, HTML, AWS/Azure/Cloud etc.Experience on Industrial communication protocols viz OPC UA, Industrial ethernet etc.Domain experience viz Automotive, Discrete manufacturing etc.Education:
Graduate Engineer in Computer Science, I.T, Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication with strong academic track record. Masters degree in technology will be an added advantage.Mandatory skills:
