Then it seems like youd make a great addition to our vibrant international team.We are looking for: Solution Engineer,Youll make an impact by:xc2xb7 Being adept in driving resolution of customer issues and bug fixes, acting as customer advocate while adhering to support service standards.xc2xb7 Provide work estimates and regular status updatesxc2xb7 Active monitoring and improvement of the environment to ensure 100% application availabilityxc2xb7 Deploy, configure, and test Smart Grid Application solutions.xc2xb7 Be on-call on a weekly rotation basis throughout the year to help enable 24x7 global support.xc2xb7 Escalate and log defects for more advanced customer issues to Product and Project Management teams when necessary.xc2xb7 Ensure that SLAs of assigned customer reported issues are met within TATxc2xb7 Actively participate in team and departmental meetings by providing feedback on current day-to-day activity and recommendations for improvement.Use your skills to move the world forward!xc2xb7 Education: BE degree in Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or relevant field.xc2xb7 Experience: 3-7 yearsxc2xb7 Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills.xc2xb7 Experience in core Java in application support.xc2xb7 Understanding of ITIL concepts, ITIL certification preferred.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of UNIX environment with understanding of Shell/python Scripting.xc2xb7 Technical troubleshooting skills of large RDBMS like Oracle with sound knowledge of SQL.xc2xb7 Knowledge and troubleshooting experience of core Java, kafka and XML standards to support complex enterprise software.xc2xb7 Knowledge of basic networking concepts like WWW, FTP, TELNET, SSH, etc.xc2xb7 Knowledge of web-enabled support tools like SOAP UI.xc2xb7 Ability to effectively communicate technical issues, prioritize them and enjoy working with customers.xc2xb7 Apache Tomcat Administration skills or Administration of other web applications.xc2xb7 Excellent people and communication skills.xc2xb7 Impeccable English speaking and writing skills.xc2xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills and should be an active listener and learner.Create a better #TomorrowWithUs!This role is based in Chennai, where youll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come.Were Siemens.
