Business Unit:Data Platform and Services (DPS) provides Policies, Standards and Frameworks to the Businesses and Functions to balance the need for consistency across WTW while respecting the uniqueness of each business. We facilitate learning and communication through our Communities of Practice. We also maintain Enterprise Reference Data as the one source of truth for 19 domains. Under DPS, the Technology Team supports and runs Technical Data Architecture, Product Management, Quality Engineering, Data and Software Engineering and Service Management.Job Summary:We are seeking a technically skilled Tech Lead / Solution Architect, with detailed experience in Microsoft Technology with the Azure Cloud environment. The individual would be a very good problem solver with a zeal of exploring new technologies on top of his / her day-to-day responsibilities. The individual is expected to guide the software development team by himself actively participating in all technical agile ceremonies and work closely with other leaders to meticulously define a technical Architecture roadmap based on DPS priorities.Responsibilities & Duties:Essential Job Duties:

• Spearheading complex initiatives as a key member within the Data Platform and Servicesteam, involving multiple stakeholders globally.

• Champion a composable architecture approach; emphasizing modular design and reusable components.

• Evaluate emerging and azure technologies, frameworks and tools to support business goals. Help the Tech Leader to make informed decisions.

• Produce technical Solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring optimal utilization of cloud resources for consistency and interoperability across the enterprise.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business BAs and Data Management and other customers to create solutions and develop.

o Logical / Physical Architecture documento Physical Architecture document.o Technical / Reference Architecture.o Solution on a page with Ball Park estimates - As and when necessary

• Strong Technical acumen to drill down at code level whenever needed to perform activities such as

o Proof of Concept Analysis.o Technical Assessment for Tech Debt items.o Code Level Analysis (Studying the ETL Jobs, Application code, etc.) to re design legacy architecture / design.

• Taking ownership in driving interactions within other WTW technology teams for all technical needs including Information Security related deliverables.

• DPS technology is completely cloud driven and hence the individual is expected to haveconsiderable experience in cloud native technologies (Azure preferred or quickly scalable toAzure platform with a short learning curve)

. The individual is expected to work on a technical reference estimation model, byunderstanding all the technical assets under DPS.

• The individual is expected to break a technical problem into high level deliverables which can be then picked up by the Agile PM to be distributed within the sprints.

• Experience in exploring Automation opportunities for optimizing technical delivery, e.g. GitHub Co - Pilot, Power Apps, GenAI, etc.

• The individual is expected to clearly present Solution designs to Key stakeholders.

• Any other tasks as requested by the manager from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of experience out of which minimum 5 years of experience as a TechLead / Solution Architect, creating technical solutions using cloud native technologies.

• Strong Technical skill sets in using various cloud services for solution design anddevelopment within Azure ecosystem - Resource Manager, Azure Functions, Logic apps,Azure API mgmt., Virtual Machines, Managed instances, App services, Service Hub, LogAnalytics, Cosmos DB, SQL PaaS and MI, Integration Services, etc.

• Proficiency in DevOps migration and creating reusable Cloud Patterns with TerraformModules. Experience, AKS, and Application Deployment / PaaS solutions.

• Experience in working around vulnerabilities and Guardrails, within a cloud ecosystem.

• The experience within AWS or GCP is relatable for a senior and skilled individual providedhe / she adapts azure cloud within a very short period (1.5 months) and able to deliversolutions using Azure cloud services as mentioned above post that time frame.
