Position Title: Solution Architect - Supply ChainPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time xe2x80x8bPosition Location: GurgaonGrade: Grade 06Requisition ID: 33001JOB PURPOSE:We are looking for a business savvy technical leader, someone who can perform activities of developing a direction for managing the portfolio of to-be solutions xe2x80x94 including systems (meaning not just applications, but also processes and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components xe2x80x94 in order to better match business outcome objectives.The Solution Architect supports process transformation and product development by bridging the specific business problems (and issues) to the technologies that support them. In this role you will primarily support the Supply Chain Portfolio in architecting and implementing sophisticated solutions aimed at expanding McCains supply chain planning and execution capabilities.If you possess a profound acumen for complex problem-solving, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes and solutions, we invite you to contribute your expertise to our team at McCain.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.Own and maintain the overall integrated solution architecture for supply chain systems ensuring the fidelity of the solutions across applications.Manage and develop the architecture for a broader scope of projects, working closely with application architects that manage and design architecture for a single project or initiative.Take a leadership position in the technology roadmap and establish a vision by:Remaining at the forefront of technological advancements within the supply chain management domain, providing proactive recommendations for innovative solutions.Exhibiting technical leadership by guiding the selection and assimilation of technologies that augment the efficiency and efficacy of our supply chain processes.Maintain systems encompassing Enterprise Architecture, Solution documentation, Business Process Management, process materials (e.g. SOPs) and other related documentation repositories in line with our aim to have best-in-class documentation.Collaborate with the Product Owner, Delivery Managers and Global & Regional Supply Chain business to develop solutions.Provide consulting support to portfolio architects within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.Analyze the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation and innovation).Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from future to current state (as defined by the solutions architecture).Consult with application and infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify projects to accommodate the solutions architecture.MEASURES OF SUCCESS:Prior experience in organizations leveraging SAP ECC or S/4 as its ERPExperience in Blue Yonder Demand, Supply and S&OPExperience in industry leading TMS Systems (SAP TM, Blue Yonder)Process depth and breadth within supply chaining planning and execution including but not limited to S&OP, Demand/Supply Planning, SO&E, Production Planning & Scheduling, Transportation Planning and Execution, Warehouse Management, and Order Management.Application Portfolio Management (APM): Hands on experience implementing APM with one or more leading EA tool would be an asset. LeanIX experience is an asset.Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps).Experience in key technology domains including Cloud, Containers, API, Events, Security, Integration, Infrastructure, Data and AI.Be an excellent communicator and collaborator, engaging with multiple technical and business stakeholders and leaders.Experience in Consumer Products considered an assetCollaborates with other architects at the Architecture Review Board (ARB)KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:15+ years of experience designing and leading creative architecture solutions in supply chain (Blue Yonder).Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.Proven track record as a Solution Architect in the realm of supply chain management or related domains.Experience in multiple architecture domains (business, information, technology, application, infrastructure, security) and are proficient in generating technical roadmaps and architectures to lead architecture concepts.Profound knowledge of supply chain processes inclusive of procurement, supply chain planning, logistics, distribution and transportation.Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.Architecture experience in Agriculture and food manufacturing is considered an asset.A certification in enterprise architecture such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is considered and asset.A professional certification as an architect with an industry-recognized organization.OTHER INFORMATIONYou will work out of our Global Digital Technology Centre []Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needsTravel: as requiredJob is primarily performed in a standard office environmentThe above information indicates the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
